+ What are the COVID-19 protocols for attending a SLCG event?

All concert attendees at our sponsored events at the Ethical Society must wear a mask in the venue and provide proof of vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 test - either a negative PCR taken within 72 hours before the performance or a negative rapid-antigen test (home tests NOT accepted) within 24 hours of the performance. Each party of ticket holders much maintain social-distancing by keeping one seat empty on either side.

+ What is a Virtual Concert?

Virtual concerts are the response many arts organizations have implemented after the COVID-19 Pandemic. St. Louis Classical Guitar will have each live concert in the Great Artist Series professionally filmed for viewing online post performance.

+ How will I be able to access the content?

Once you purchase a ticket through the event page, you will be notified in an email the Friday after the concert when online viewing will be available through a private link.

+ What is the cost to access a virtual concert?

Yes, each event is priced at $22 per household, or $80 for a subscription to all four events. This modest ticket price allows St. Louis Classical Guitar to produce unique content that is not readily accessible on the internet for free, as well as continue to provide meaningful payments to the artists we hire. Thank you for supporting live music during these trying times!

+ How can I purchase the virtual subscription?

To get the best price for all four events ($80/household) simply select 'Great Artist Series Package' on the top of the Concert Season page on our wesite. This will take you to the Thundertix site. Please selecet the package Great Artist Series - Online Viewing only. You will then need to select all four concerts to make a complete package.

+ Can I apply a voucher from the postponed events last spring towards a Virtual Concert ticket?

Yes! If you would like to apply a credit from either Berta Rojas or Ana Vidovic towards the cost of one of our virtual events please Contact Us so that we may better assist you. You may also save your credits for when we are able to host Berta Rojas and Ana Vidovic in person.

+ Can I give a Virtual Concert ticket as a gift?

Absolutely! The gift of music is the greatest gift of all. Consider giving all your family and friends that gift this holiday season. You may also consider gifting a ticket to a student or teacher in our Guitar Horizons education program. Simply Contact Us so that we can apply your purchase to the appropriate account.

+ Will I be able to watch concert after it premiers?

Absolutely! After the concert link is sent, it will be available for about three days to view at your leisure, from Friday 12PM - Sunday 11:59 PM. After this time period, the online performance will not be accessible.

+ What will the quality be like?

SLCG will be working with a videographer with high quality cameras and microphones to produce the best quality video possible. However, your experience will vary depending upon the hardware you use to access the stream. A stable internet connection, high quality speakers, and a high quality monitor will all improve the quality in your home.

+ What if I have technical difficulties during the event?

Technical difficulty is the worst! Please feel free to send us an email for any trouble accessing the concert online.

+ How can I join the SLCG Guitar Orchestra?

Interested in rehearsing and learning guitar ensemble repertoire with a group of classical guitarists of all skill levels? We would love to hear from you! Please contact orchestra director W Mark Akin if you are interested in joining. The orchestra meets on alternate Monday evenings at Salem United Church beginning Jan 10th, 2022.
